This degree will expand your potential by providing you with specialised knowledge in the rapidly expanding area of renewable energy engineering, including solar, wind and biomass. On graduation you will be uniquely qualified to capitalise in the rapidly changing energy sector with an understanding of issues in energy policy, impacts of renewable energy systems and the commercialisation of renewable energy systems.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Renewable Energy Engineering , an applicant must:

a three-year Engineering degree (for example, Bachelor of Engineering Science or Bachelor of Engineering Technology or equivalent) in a cognate discipline;
AND must have a GPA of no less than 4.0 on a 7-point scale.

Extra information

Completion of this Graduate Certificate with a GPA of no less than 5.0 on a 7- point scale (or a weighted average mark of 65%) is a pathway into the Master of Professional Engineering (5728), where applicants may be eligible for up to 40 credit points of credit.
