The Diploma of Business is a pathway program designed to help you transition into the Bachelor of Business. You'll develop foundational knowledge and skills in a supportive learning environment, setting you up for success in your future studies.
The world of business is evolving, with a shift towards progressive, innovative workplace and industry practices. You'll learn the skills, values and opportunities future business leaders will need to succeed in the new economy. The Diploma of Business will teach you modern business practices, such as adaptability, creativity, diversity, and sustainability, along with foundational business and commerce theory.
You'll study an academic foundation course that prepares you for your university studies, as well as courses on the purpose of business, trading in Australia and the Asia-Pacific, the future of work, business decision making, and grand challenges, with additional support and access to a dedicated First Year Coordinator and (PASS), run by high-achieving students.

The Diploma of Business will give you foundational business knowledge and skills for the new economy. Your transferable business skills will prepare you for work in almost any industry, not-for-profit, government, corporation, or start-up. You will also be able to complete further studies at the AQF Level 7, including a bachelor degree.

Selection for admission to an undergraduate degree is made on the basis of academic merit.
Selection for admission is competitive as the number of applicants generally exceeds the places available. The minimum requirement for eligibility for admission is completion of Year 12 of secondary school or equivalent academic achievement.
Prerequisites for admission may be specified in terms of levels of achievement in particular Year 12 subjects. Prerequisite conditions may be satisfied by other study or experience which is considered to be equivalent to the Year 12 prerequisites.
