This course examines organisational and technological issues required to analyse and design business information systems. Throughout the program you will develop an understanding of organisational settings recognising technology threats and opportunities utilising modern principles and theories with practical applications. Subjects such as information security multimedia knowledge management databases and emerging technologies in business will help you become familiar with the latest developments in IT as well as different types of tools and their applications. Electives will compliment your IT degree allowing you to build your business acumen with subjects including the theory and practice of managing people to build knowledge and understanding of workplace behaviour.

* Real experience in your chosen profession. Every Co-op student completes a minimum of 60 days' paid placement relevant to their course - contributing directly to course credits - either full time over one semester, part time over an extended period or in blocks embedded into your subjects.
