About this course

This qualification has been designed to offer a clear pathway from the Certificate II in Medical Service First Response to a university bachelor program. It reflects the role of pre-hospital and out-of-hospital workers employed by State/Territory ambulance authorities, the Australian Defence Force and the private sector to provide patient assessment, health care and transport services. These workers possess clinical skills and theoretical knowledge and provide clinical assessment and pre-hospital and out-of-hospital interventions to patients in an emergency, including providing advanced skills in life support.

Entry requirements

There are no pre-requisites or entry requirements for this course. However, all international students must meet English requirements below.

English requirements

International students are required to have a minimum of IELTS of 6.0 / PTE score of 52, or their equivalent.
