My full name is Njoku Raymond Chinedu, I hail from Umuotodike Amaocha Afara in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state Nigeria. I was born into the family of Mr and Mrs I.G Njoku Ekwujuru in the year 7th of August 1984. However, I recently lost my father to cancer, and my mother still live in Nigeria with four of my siblings of which I'm the first born. My Dad was a business man and my Mum is a Teacher. I'm currently single. I had a humble beginning in the northern Nigeria where I attended my nursery and primary school, had my secondary school certificate in the eastern part of Nigeria and my University in the southern region where I bagged my MBBS degree in 2012. I excelled in all my examinations with excellent grades during my primary, secondary and tertiary level. I had awards which I merited in my secondary days and certificates of participation in voluntary activities towards health and awareness programme during my undergraduate level. My Values as a person is influence by my religion as a Christian and having the fear of God is of essence to me. I come from a very strong and deep rooted catholic background, I sing in the church and lector at church service. My hobbies are reading, solving puzzles, swimming, listening to music and watching football. I'm fluent in English, Igbo and Hausa.
Nevertheless, I'm a Man of notable character, good interpersonal relationship with others, good leadership abilities, good communication skills and I have a strong passion in my decisions and focused in my career
I'm a certified medical doctor with full registered and annual practicing license with the medical and dental council of Nigeria. I'm currently undergoing a masters program in public health at the prestigious Curtin University Bentley campus in pursuit of happiness and finding a fulfilled career towards the area of global health and preventive medicine. My passion is directed towards health policy and joining the workforce in future to see that universal health coverage is being implemented across the nation, if possible, achieving them at low cost most especially across middle and low income countries, and using health in all policy approach to fight injustices,targeting equity across the health systems and using the principle of health economics to make good policy formulations.
My postgraduate program is of great advantage to me with upgrading my scope in terms of knowledge, skills, different methods in approaching my set goals and opportunity to do a research in my said filled of interest. I've dedicated myself in making sure I strive towards excellence and I won't be resilient or go contrary against my standards, until I have satisfied my yearning of being a health professional working in World Health Organisation and a consultant in matters regarding to health/ health Policies.
