This Undergraduate Certificate may lead students into the English and Cultural Studies major (OUMU-ENGCS) within the Bachelor of Arts (OU-ARTS) program offered through Curtin OUA.

What you'll learn

• apply principles and concepts of English and Cultural Studies in a variety of contexts relevant to further learning and/or paraprofessional work
• apply critical and creative thinking and problem solving skills relevant to English and cultural studies to generate innovative solutions to problems
• use technology appropriately to communicate English and Cultural Studies concepts to experts and non-experts
• consider global perspectives on English and Cultural Studies and international English and cultural studies standards
• demonstrate respect for Indigenous values, cultures and knowledges and consider Indigenous perspectives on English and Cultural studies
