About this course

Outline Outline

In this course, you will study topics in transportation, physical distribution and warehousing.

In your first year, you will study the same content as in our nested Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management, investigating global freight transport systems, supply chain analytics and a choice of optional units, including project or strategic operations management.

You will also examine material and inventory management, purchasing, manufacturing, location modelling, retailing and information system linkages for government and private industries on a national and global basis.

Your learning will be cemented through an individual research project which you will complete under the guidance of our experienced staff.

Note: This major sits within the Master of Commerce. To apply for this major, you will apply for the Master of Commerce. Alternatively, if you're seeking a more advanced qualification, you should apply for the Master of Supply Chain Management (Professional), which is tailored towards graduates with substantial experience and is shorter in duration.
