English and Cultural Studies Specialisation

In this specialisation, you'll explore cultural texts and social issues, and develop creative and critical thinking, research and writing skills. You'll analyse contemporary texts, including literature, film, digital and social media, to understand how they encode and reflect cultural traditions.

You'll develop an understanding of representation through diverse text types and the making and circulation of meaning within a culture.

A specialisation is a set of four units you can choose to complement your course. Most Curtin courses allow you to choose a specialisation from any academic area.
