  • critically analyse the biomedical science literature to design, implement and evaluate a research project
  • determine the type and variety of biomedical science information required using appropriate technologies; synthesise and evaluate scientific and experimental information
  • communicate the research process and outcomes through a proposal, dissertation and oral presentations appropriate for a scientific audience; keep accurate records of experimental work and planning
  • use appropriate instrumentation to undertake biomedical science experiments
  • demonstrate intellectual curiosity throughout the planning, conduct and evaluation of the research process
  • consider biomedical science problems from a global perspective; apply international biomedical standards for experimental procedures
