Doctorate (PhD)
The Doctor of Information Technology provides excellent preparation for a career as a middle to senior level professional in the information and communication technology industry. Employment opportunities are found in business, government and research organisations in Australia and overseas. Roles may include chief information officer, chief information security officer, chief technology officer, development manager, enterprise architect, IT manager, IT strategist, IT policy manager or ICT consultant. Completion of a doctorate also demonstrates to employers that you can conduct independent research, manage a complex project, liaise with stakeholders and communicate effectively at an advanced level.
