This course provides an overview of the discipline of IT, including:

the historical perspectives
fundamental concepts of computation
its relationship with other computing disciplines

Specific learning includes computer and system's architecture, specific to services and capabilities that IT infrastructure solutions provide in an organisational context.

Objective:

Equips students with the appropriate skills to troubleshoot hardware problems for a computer
Provide an introduction to web development technologies, including basic XHTML and CSS

Entry requirements

Applicants must be 18 years old by the Census Date of the relevant admission period and have completed Year 10.
