This Graduate Certificate will introduce students to foundational programming, mathematical and statistical concepts which can be applied to large data sets to derive information to make high-level, data-driven decisions. The second term of this course includes a particular focus on marketing and social media applications of data analytic tools. The flexibility and insights offered by a data analytics skillset can be used for data driven change and problem solving across many business sectors.

Applicants holding an overseas equivalent of an Australian Bachelor's degree must provide proof of English language proficiency at IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent.
The Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics is a foundational program suitable for those seeking employment and or further development in the fast-growing field of data analytics. All professional and business sectors are now placing a heavy emphasis on data-driven decision-making, and graduates may find employment in industries as diverse as manufacturing, finance, health, software development, and media and communications.

Upon completion of this certificate, students may choose to extend their studies by enrolling in Master of Business Administration (Business Analytics) degree*.
Students will receive 24 credit points of advanced standing and exemption from equivalent units in that degree.
