Graduate Diploma in Supervision

The Graduate Diploma in Supervision provides multi-disciplinary knowledge and skills in the supervision of individuals and groups across a variety of contexts, including the Church, education, health care, aged care, social services, and overseas aid and development.

Grounded in the long and rich history of accompaniment within the Ignatian spiritual tradition, and in line with community professional standards, students are trained and develop the necessary skills for professional practice as supervisors. This includes approaches and methods to help others reflect, learn, and nurture support structures in communities, all with a view to safe and sustainable practice.

Graduates will exemplify and encourage a culture of self-care and care of others, as well as develop the skills to manage a professional supervision practice. They are prepared to work in the area of formation and in the clinical and leadership settings of Catholic and other Christian organisations across a range of ministries.
