Your enrolment in this course will only be complete after you've paid your course fees. You can pay fees online, on any AUT campus or by fees invoice. There are four online modules in the form of multimedia presentations covering:

1. Pharmacology
2. DAAM procedures
3. Recognition and troubleshooting the difficult airway
4. Review of mechanical ventilation

This culminates in a compulsory formative MCQ assessment.

This course should take approximately 32 hours of online learning and an 8-hour classroom session. You'll have 2 months to complete the online learning prior to attending class. You'll need to enrol to gain access to the online learning.

This short course is primarily aimed at the prehospital emergency services, intensive care paramedics with rapid sequence intubation endorsement and those wishing to challenge for this endorsement.

It's been designed with working health professionals in mind. The pre-learning through the AUT online Canvas platform is designed to be a self-paced programme that you can progress through at your own speed, place and time with only a one day in-class component.
