PrerequisiteWho this fitness instructing course is suitable for

If you've already completed the Certificate of Proficiency in Fitness Foundations and you're ready for the next step in your journey to becoming a qualified personal trainer and fitness instructor, then this is the course for you.

After completing this course

The Certificate of Proficiency in Fitness Instructing is the second of three courses you need to complete to become a qualified personal trainer and fitness instructor. The three courses are taught part-time over 4 months and each course is a prerequisite for the next course.

When you've successfully completed the first course, the Certificate of Proficiency in Fitness Foundations (Level 4), you then enrol in this second course - the Certificate of Proficiency in Fitness Instructing (Level 5). This allows you to be recognised as a fitness instructor and become REPS registered nationally and internationally in the fitness industry.

When you successfully complete the third and final course, the Certificate of Proficiency in Personal Training (Level 5), you will be qualified as a personal trainer and also be able to become REPS registered nationally and internationally in the fitness industry.
