By studying hospitality management, you develop the decision making, organisational and strategic thinking skills to effectively manage hospitality entities in ways that are sustainable and people focused.
Year 1You take two core courses that give you a fundamental understanding of applied food and beverage management, and international hospitality management. You're also introduced to human resource management in hospitality, finance and financial decision-making in hospitality, and the global context of food and beverage management.

Year 2This year you become familiar with critical and ethical perspectives of hospitality and its role in society, and marketing in hospitality and tourism.

Year 3You explore strategic perspectives for hospitality and tourism organisations, innovation in hospitality, hotel management, hospitality in the digital age, and revenue management in hospitality and tourism.

Workplace experienceIn your final semester, you complete valuable workplace experience with an organisation (this is the Hospitality and Tourism Work Integrated Learning course). It's a great opportunity to develop industry networks and make a decision on your professional career after graduation.
