A recognised bachelor degree plus graduate certificate both in human resource management industrial relations or psychology with a minimum grade point average of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale); or
A recognised graduate diploma (or higher) in human resource management industrial relations or psychology with a minimum grade point average of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale); or
A recognised bachelor degree in human resource management industrial relations or psychology with a minimum grade point average of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale) followed by at least seven years full-time (or equivalent) work experience in human resource management industrial relations or psychology.

As part of QUT's application for admission process you will be automatically assessed for the 1.5 year program. If you wish to be considered for the 2 year program only please indicate this on your application form.
Master of Business - 1.5 year program
A completed recognised bachelor degree in business or related field with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

Pathway
Graduate Certificate in Business and Communication: Applicants with an overall IELTS score of 6 (Reading and Writing no less than 5.5 and no other sub-score below 5) (or accepted equivalent) may be considered for the Graduate Certificate / Masters pathway.
The Bachelor of Building Surveying is a four-year (equivalent) professional course designed to meet the needs of the building surveying industry. Entry is limited to students pathwaying from specific diplomas and advanced diplomas..No longer accepting new students into this course.

This qualification reflects the role of an individual working as a senior civil works designer or a para-professional designer, who supports professional engineers. They perform tasks that are broad, specialised, complex and technical and include strategic areas and initiating activities.

This program provides students with advanced study across the breadth of specialisations in Civil Engineering. It is designed to extend and deepen the knowledge and skills gained from an undergraduate degree in civil engineering.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for admission to Master of Civil Engineering Advanced, a student must hold:
a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent three year or four year Civil Engineering undergraduate degree from a recognised university (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing)
OR a Bachelor Honours degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent four year Civil Engineering undergraduate degree from a recognised university (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing)
OR a Graduate Certificate in Civil Engineering.
Students admitted to the program with a Bachelor Honours degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent four year Engineering undergraduate degree or a Graduate Certificate in Civil Engineering will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing towards the program. The following degrees are considered to be equivalent to a Bachelor honours degree in Engineering:
four year Engineering undergraduate degree that includes a significant final year research project component (i.e. one semester thesis) from an Australian university
four year Engineering undergraduate degree that includes a significant final year research project component (i.e. one semester thesis) from a NOOSR Section 1 University.
Students currently enrolled in the Master of Civil Engineering (5642) will be eligible to transfer to the Master of Civil Engineering Advanced prior to graduation. Graduates of the Master of Civil Engineering (5642) are not eligible for admission to this program.
The Bachelor of Aviation Management (BAvMan) is a dedicated aviation qualification which will introduce you to various aspects of the aviation industry.
