Course Description The Graduate Diploma in Music is a one-year program designed for university graduates in any field who wish to undertake graduate study in music.
The Master of Music (Opera Performance) is a professional training program offering elite-level training for opera singers and repetiteurs, at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Australia's oldest and most prestigious music institution.
Please note: There is no mid-year intake for Jazz & Improvisation The Bachelor of Music provides advanced, pre-professional music training in five specialisations: Interactive Composition, Jazz & Improvisation, and Music Performance, Composition, Musicology/Ethnomusicology.

Units 3 & 4: A study score of at least 25 in English/English Language/Literature or at least 30 in EAL.
This exciting course will expose you to a variety of learning experiences including performance tuition to develop your solo performance skills and academic study in the interpretation and understanding of music.

It is recommended that students have achieved at least an intermediate level of performance skill on their particular instrument or voice, or intermediate compositional skill before auditioning for entry to this course.
In this degree, you will learn all facets of musical composition, and we will support you to specialise and create ambitious, informed, well-crafted, and individual work. You will also develop the skills to compose electroacoustic music, including sound art, digital music and computer music.

Create new music from first year while experiencing live and recording studio environments. Choose from creative technologies, music performance and recording/composing for media.
