    Entry Requirements

    For this programme, you'll need one of the following:

    1. Completed the New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Engineering (Level 3); or

    3. If English is not your first language, you need one or more of the following:

    • Have achieved NCEA Level 3 and New Zealand University Entrance
    • Be able to provide evidence you satisfy our criteria for existing English proficiency
    • Have achieved at least one English proficiency outcome in the last two years

    • Be 20 years or older before the start of the programme
    • Provide sufficient evidence of aptitude, appropriate work, or other life experience as approved by the Academic Leader

    You may be eligible for recognition of prior learning if you have previously studied or have relevant work experience. This will help to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.

    The Master of Surveying (MSurv) is a one- or two-year postgraduate programme that has, as its prerequisite for entry, an undergraduate degree in surveying.

    1. Admission to the programme shall be subject to the approval of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Sciences).
    2. Every applicant must either
      1. be a graduate, or
      2. have alternative qualifications or experience acceptable to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Sciences).

    If you are an Engineering Technologist and have more than 5 years industry experience under your belt, then USQ’s Master of Engineering Practice (Mechanical Engineering) will give you the necessary qualification to be eligible for Professional Engineer registration with Engineers Australia.

    Entry Requirements Australian university three year Bachelor degree in engineering science or engineering technology in the relevant specialisation area, or equivalent. A minimum of five years' relevant professional work experience. Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident; citizen of New Zealand or holder of a 457 visa with a duration of at least three years.  English Language Requirements You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements.
