    The Bachelor of Arts is a highly flexible, new-age degree featuring a choice of six majors, each offering a unique perspective on the world around you and your role in it. You'll learn how to improve your decision-making, generate new ideas, and think critically and creatively.

    Entry Requirements

    Admission requirements are met by one of the following:

    • Successful completion of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) and the awarding of an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 60*.
    • Successful completion of a national qualification at Certificate III level or higher.
    • Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma.
    • Overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications considered equivalent to the above Australian qualifications.
    • Attainment of a STAT Multiple Choice score of 140.
    • Successful completion of the Tertiary Enabling Program, the Preparation for Tertiary Success courses, or other recognised tertiary preparation course.
    • Submission of an acceptable personal competencies statement and/or employment experience.
    • Defence members with service of 1 year or more at the following ranks (or higher) meet the academic entry requirement for this course:
      • Navy: Seaman, Able Seaman, Leading Seaman
      • Air Force: Aircraftmen/Aircraftwoman, Leading Aircraftman/Aircraftwoman, Corporal
      • Army: Private, Lance Corporal, Corporal
    • Current School Leaver Pathways:
      • Best of 3 Year 12 subject grades
      • School recommendation program

    The Bachelor of Arts Honours program provides an initiation into independent research.

    Entry Requirements

    Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree or equivalent international qualification with at least a credit average (GPA of 5.00).

    You must contact CDU's Faculty of Arts and Society by email to fas@cdu.edu.au prior to submitting an application to discuss a potential project and supervision arrangements. Entry into the course will be subject to the availability of supervision, dependent on the research interests of the applicant.

    Our Graduate Certificate of Arts program is designed to diversify and expand your knowledge in cultural and creative spheres.

    Entry Requirements

    Successful completion of a recognised bachelor degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma, masters degree or equivalent international qualification.

    Consideration will also be given to applicants who do not have one of the above qualifications, but who have at least five years appropriate professional experience.

    Applicants must provide further documentation detailing their employment experience in the form of a curriculum vitae (CV) with their application.

    To ensure you have the right skills and support to succeed in your course, a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LL&N) evaluation helps identify any areas where you may need additional support to help you achieve your goals.

    To gain entry into CUA40420 Certificate IV in Live Production and Technical Services, candidates are required to:

    • Undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment to determine applicable support requirements.
    • Be fit, active and able to function effectively in a tropical environment, as this is a physically demanding course.
    • Produce a body of work demonstrating the ability to respond effectively to workplace requirements associated with live production and technical services in line with current industry standards.
    • Apply a basic knowledge of trends and traditions in at least one area of technical production.
    • To study part-time students are required to be engaged in the industry.

    Skills and knowledge may have been acquired through experience or formal study. All pre-requisite qualifications and experience will be assessed at a pre-enrolment interview.
