Entry Requirements
Students that have completed a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours or a Bachelor of Science with Honours in a relevant subject, or the Postgraduate Certificate in Civil Engineering with good grades, may be admitted to the programme with approval based on the relevance of their previous studies.

The Certificate in Visual Arts is made up of four courses from the first year of our Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Design, Bachelor of Creative Media Production and Bachelor of Maori Visual Arts programmes.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism is based on leading overseas journalism qualifications. It is for those with no journalism experience who wish to enter the industry, or those with some experience who wish to develop specialist knowledge.

To enter the Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism you will:
have been awarded or qualified for a bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least a B- grade average in the 300-level majoring courses or equivalent
You will need to provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.
The Graduate Diploma in Journalism enables you to study another subject without completing a second bachelor's degree. The graduate diploma is a bridging tool to gain the equivalent of an undergraduate major in a specific area so you can go on to postgraduate study.

Admission is based on the submission of a proposal outlining the territory of exploration, and the nature of the project to be undertaken by the applicant. It is useful and usual for potential applicants to make an appointment to discuss their interests, before submitting their proposal.

IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent
Get a solid grounding in civil engineering to cleverly design, construct, operate and maintain infrastructure. Through applying mathematics and physics to civil engineering problems, you'll learn to develop the expertise needed to successfully manage civil engineering projects.

1. Be at least 16 years of old when you start this programme: 2. A total of NCEA level 2 including a minimum of:
10 literacy credits at level 1 or higher (for those who achieved NCEA Level 2 before 2013); and
48 NCEA credits at level 2 in four subjects, including at least 12 credits in Mathematics (preferably achievement standards in algebra, calculus or trigonometry);
