Entry Requirements
Enrolment in the Diploma in Global Humanitarian Engineering is open to everyone studying the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in the 2nd-4th years, from any discipline.
To enter, you must have successfully completed the first year of the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours degree, and your application will need to be approved.

The Bachelor of Aviation Management (BAvMan) is a dedicated aviation qualification which will introduce you to various aspects of the aviation industry.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism is based on leading overseas journalism qualifications. It is for those with no journalism experience who wish to enter the industry, or those with some experience who wish to develop specialist knowledge.

To enter the Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism you will:
have been awarded or qualified for a bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least a B- grade average in the 300-level majoring courses or equivalent
You will need to provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.
The Graduate Diploma in Journalism enables you to study another subject without completing a second bachelor's degree. The graduate diploma is a bridging tool to gain the equivalent of an undergraduate major in a specific area so you can go on to postgraduate study.

To enter the Graduate Diploma in Journalism you will:
have been awarded or qualified for an undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification, or
have been admitted to the qualification on the basis of equivalent relevant professional experience.
To ensure this qualification is right for you, you will be required to submit a short personal statement detailing why you wish to study this qualification and your relevant industry experience (if any).
If you already have an undergraduate degree, you are strongly advised to consider doing the Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism.

The only one of its kind in New Zealand, Waikato's Master of Professional Writing offers a research-led, strongly practice-based qualification in professional and creative writing.
The MCW is for writers working on a large-scale creative writing project: a novel, short story collection, full-length work of creative nonfiction, or poetry collection. The programme is convened by the award-winning fiction writer and essayist Paula Morris.
Massey University's Master of Aviation will give you the knowledge and skills you need to gain a more in-depth understanding of aviation and advance your career. This programme offers taught courses and independent research.
Entry Requirements
To enter the Master of Aviation, you will have been awarded or qualified for a Bachelor of Aviation, Bachelor of Aviation Management or equivalent qualification, and have achieved a minimum B- grade average in the highest level courses.
If you have been awarded the Degree of Bachelor of Aviation Management with Honours, or the equivalent degree of another recognised university, you may apply for credit towards Part One of the qualification in accordance with the limits specified in the Recognition of Prior Learning regulations.
You will need to provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.
For anyone with an interest in professional, academic, creative, and technical writing, this coursework-based Master's degree allows you to specialise and deepen your expertise.
Entry Requirements
You should have achieved at least a B Grade Point Average in 300-level courses in your undergraduate degree, which should have also had a strong written component.
If English is your additional language, you will also need to provide evidence of your English language ability as IELTS (Academic) 6.5, with no individual score below 6.5. Preference will be given to those with a score of 7 or over.
