<div> <div> <p>In RMIT's Bachelor of Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics) (Honours) degree, you'll learn about mechatronics, robotics, advanced materials, automated systems, and the simulation and modelling of manufacturing processes.</p> <p>As automation replaces people in various industry sectors, engineers with experience in robotics and mechatronics will be highly sought after.</p> <p>This professionally accredited degree will prepare you to work in a wide range of industries and as a graduate, you'll demonstrate skills across mathematics, engineering, mechatronics, design and creativity. You'll also be able to communicate your ideas to others and continue to learn as a professional engineer.</p> <p>Your studies will include areas such as electrical and electronic system design, machine intelligence and robotics, computer programming and advanced materials. Bachelor of Engineering (Adv Manufacturing and Mechatronics) (Honours)

<div><p>The Graduate Diploma in Mining was created with the working engineer in mind. Intended as continuing education for scientists and engineers already involved with the mining industry, it is expected to appeal particularly to civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical and construction engineers, geologists, metallurgists, surveyors and other professionals with an interest in mining practice. This course will build upon the knowledge already gained from invaluable industry experience.</p><p>With a range of study modes available, from part time online learning to full time on campus study, this course can be tailored to suit your needs.</p><p>The course is designed for full-time study over two years or part-time study over a four year period either via online learning*or via block mode in the form of several full-time periods on campus of one week each, followed by assignments and practical work in the student's place of employment.</p><p>Persons not wishing, or not able to, finish the course in minimum time may attend full or half sessions once or twice per year until the required number of courses have been completed.</p><p>*Domestic students only, international students are required to study full-time at the Mt Helen Campus.</p></div>

<div><p>As a professional mining engineer you will oversee teams of engineering technologists and skilled trade staff to construct the designs you have created, and work at a theoretical level to isolate, analyse and define engineering outcomes.</p><p>Mining engineers are in high demand in Australia and the Asia Pacific Region and work in all parts of the industry including feasibility studies, mine design, and managing production and sales.</p><p>As a graduate, you will be eligible to become a member of Engineers Australia and seek managerial roles with private consultants, contracting companies, or federal, state and local government organisations.</p><p>Upon successful completion, you will be eligible for entry into the Master of Engineering Technology (Project Management) or the Master of Health (Workplace Health and Safety), or progress to a PhD.</p></div>
