    The Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PGDipClPs) programme normally extends over three years of full-time University study.

    Entry Requirements

    1. Admission to the programme shall be subject to the approval of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Sciences), on the advice of the Clinical Psychology Admissions Committee.
    2. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their academic record, personal suitability and professional attributes. Applicants must demonstrate the capability to meet New Zealand Psychologists Board requirements for registration as a clinical psychologist, which shall include satisfying any police vetting and safety checking processes as prescribed by the Children's Act 2014.
    3. An applicant for provisional admission to the programme shall have completed the requirements for a bachelor's degree majoring in Psychology or equivalent.
    4. An applicant for final admission to the programme shall
      1. have been admitted to the degree of Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology or Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology, or equivalent; and
      2. have passed Psychology 400-level papers with an average grade of at least B+.

    Entry Requirements

    2. Applicants seeking admission to a programme of study comprising of papers and a thesis (240 points combined) must either
      1. be a graduate with an average grade of at least B+ for the appropriate 300-level papers, or
      2. have alternative qualifications or experience acceptable to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Humanities).
    3. Applicants seeking admission to the programme of study comprising the 120-point thesis only on the basis of completing the degree of Bachelor of Arts with Honours or the Postgraduate Diploma in Arts Subjects or equivalent must:
      1. have undertaken a programme of study that provides adequate preparation for the thesis, and
      2. have achieved a grade of at least a B+ for the research report, thesis preparation, dissertation requirement, or relevant preparatory papers of the qualification concerned.
    4. In considering an applicant's qualifications, regard will be had to the detail of the course of study followed to gain the qualification, as well as the applicant's performance in the programme. Applicants must normally have achieved an average grade of at least B+ in the papers at the highest level in the programme.

    3. Applicants must normally have passed papers worth at least 108 points, at 200-level or above, during the third year of study for the degree of Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences (or equivalent).

    This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to safely perform rigging work. Rigging work is undertaken in construction and other industries where load shifting equipment is used to move, place or secure loads.

    Entry Requirements

    This course has pre-requisite requirements, the following units must be completed before enrolment into:

    Intermediate level - CPCCLRG3001 Licence to perform rigging basic level

    Participants must:
    - Be physically fit and able to work at heights.
    - Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
    - Have access to a workplace with the required equipment, our trainers can advise if your workplace is appropriate.
    - Have English language skills to effectively communicate and work safely with others in the work area and to read and comprehend manufacturer's instructions and workplace procedures and safety signs. Participants must also be able to apply mathematical procedures for the estimation and measurement of loads. These skills will be checked prior to enrolment.
