To enter the Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Arts you will :
have gained a relevant bachelor's degree with a grade average that demonstrates an adequate level of preparation
be selected into the programme through an interview and the assessment of a portfolio of submitted work
have an appropriate level of English language proficiency.
You will need to submit verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.
After graduating with a BA, you can complete a one-year Bachelor of Arts (Honours) as a qualification in its own right. Alternatively, it can be a pathway to a further year of study in a Master of Arts programme.
This training will give you the skills and knowledge required to create visual designs for interactive media components that can be integrated into a range of media products.

You will be required to: A. Attend an interview to prove your interest in creating media content. B. Provide a portfolio of your video, audio or photographic work. C. Complete three comprehension exercises with written, aural and visual comprehension tasks.
In this course, you will combine specialised technical, creative and conceptual skills to prepare for, and develop an emerging arts practice. You will gain the skills and knowledge to be able to plan and realise a body of work in one or more art forms.

Individuals must provide evidence of their technical and organisational skills to conceptualise and create works in selected visual arts media via portfolio submission and interview prior to enrolment.
Skills and knowledge may have been acquired through experience in creative practice or formal study such as a completion of a Certificate IV in Visual Arts CUA41320 or its predecessor.
Students who have achieved a Skill Set from the Certificate IV can progress to the same Diploma Skill Set. EG: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Digital Art with discussion and approval of the teacher.

The Master of Fine Arts (MFA) programme provides an opportunity to advance both your creative practice and research abilities. The MFA is open to students who have completed an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts.
The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) is mainly aimed at high-achieving students in the Bachelor of Arts who want to advance their skills and make their CV stand out. It can also serve as a pathway to advanced research at master's or doctoral level.

Bachelor of Arts with a B+ grade average or higher in level 7 courses in the selected subject area for this degree, or equivalent
The Diploma in Graphic Design provides a study pathway that supports the workforce development of Graphic Designer professionals for a career in digital, technical and creative concepts to create designs that meet client requirements and solve a range of visual communication challenges.

produce multiple examples of graphic design work that meets different design requirements
produce typography that supports the overall design solution

To be admitted to the Graduate Diploma in Fine Arts you will:
have been awarded or qualified for a bachelor's degree, or equivalent, or
have demonstrated equivalent practical, professional and/or scholarly experience.
You will also need to:
take part in an interview at which you demonstrate readiness to undertake your desired course of study
submit a satisfactory portfolio of work to show you are at the standard necessary to undertake work up to 300-level and beyond
provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities.
The Certificate in Visual Arts is made up of four courses from the first year of our Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Design, Bachelor of Creative Media Production and Bachelor of Maori Visual Arts programmes.
