    Pre-requisites

    To study this degree we assume you have sound knowledge in:

    • English (Units 3 & 4, C)

    We assume that your knowledge is equivalent to a grade C or higher in Units 3 and 4 at high school level (typically studied in Year 12). Find out more about assumed knowledge.

    • If you don't have an ATAR, you can attend an interview and supply a portfolio and written statement.
    Interview information

    Applicants who don't have an ATAR must partake in an interview and provide:

    • a head shot style photo of themselves
    • a school exit statement, or evidence of previous education standard achieved
    • a portfolio of film work, broadcast visual or sound work.
    • a written statement (500 words) outlining your experience within these media and/or an explanatory statement that describes your portfolio. Please supply your submission at interview.

    Note: It is a requirement that Queensland-based students hold a current positive notice indicating that they are deemed suitable for working with children and young people whilst studying the Bachelor of Television and Radio Production.
