<div><p>This three-year degree will give you the skills needed to succeed in a number of branches of the performing arts.</p> <p>You'll gain practical experience in performance and production work in key theatre disciplines such as acting, singing and dance, as well as studies in spoken voice, music theory, theatre history, technical theatre skills and research methods. </p>  <p>From the second year, you will refine your programme of study to suit your strengths and interests, while learning to integrate the skills you learnt in first year.</p>  <p>In the final year, most assessment is focused on your Capstone project, a large, self-directed year-long project that you design! This project allows for considerable work integrated learning in industry settings, including the possibility of working in professional productions, and further specialisations to develop other, related skills within the worlds of applied theatre and theatre for the stage.</p>  <p>You'll learn from experienced performers and teachers who are dedicated to helping you make the most of your career.</p>  </div>

<div><p>Our Bachelor of Music covers all the skills and knowledge you need to be a multi-faceted professional musician. It's built around collaboration - you'll learn the foundational skills and apply them in group projects and classes that directly mirror the real world of the music industry.</p><p>More than half the programme content is practical in nature, a higher proportion than most music degrees in New Zealand. This includes regular structured rehearsals, in-class demonstrations and numerous performance opportunities including concerts and gigs with staff and other students. With such a focus on the practical, you're a musician from day one at Ara.</p><p>The degree offers three pathways: Music Creation (composition), Music Performance and Music Production. This choice lets you specialise in the area you're passionate about, while learning alongside and working with musicians from other pathways. Your third-year capstone project allows you to design your own major project (which can include a work placement if relevant) with dedicated specialist tutor support.</p><p>At Ara you'll learn from a great team of tutors who are each also professional, working musicians. NASDA For A Day

<div><p>This comprehensive, hands-on programme covers project management, operations management and e-commerce in relation to supply chain logistics.</p> <p>You'll learn from industry experts how to identify important phases of supply chain and logistical management from internal and external perspectives; evaluate and critique existing operations; identify supply chain and logistical issues; and create effective and sustainable management solutions.</p> <p>You'll also gain a practical understanding of e-commerce and its role in business; develop concepts and analytical methods for managing people and resources; explore the basic principles and terminology of project management; and appraise project plans using MSProject.</p> <p>A key component of your studies will be a work placement of 400 hours. During this time you'll be immersed in a real-word industry environment and have the opportunity to produce work of the highest quality as evidence of your development. Part-time up to 10 years. </p> </div>

<div><p>Throughout this programme, core competencies of project management, operations management, resource integration and supply chain logistics are combined to identify and address present-day supply chain issues.</p>    <p>Quantitative techniques will lay the foundation for sound decision-making and problem-solving to address operational issues, while qualitative content will explore the best methods for planning, organising and strategy formulation from the managerial perspective. In addition, electives in B2B sales and marketing or health and safety leadership will enable you to expand your capabilities to lead and support supply chain logistics.</p>    <p>You'll also channel the knowledge and skills you acquire into a practical industry project for a local business or organisation, in which you'll address business issues or advance business opportunities. In the process, you'll strengthen your understanding of supply chain logistics.</p>  </div>

Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Logistics

<div><p>This programme blends theory with real-world learning to cover essential skills needed to work in travel consultancy environments.</p> <p>You'll learn how to use industry-standard systems and processes, research travel products, plan itineraries, prepare quotes, develop and maintain relationships and provide excellent customer service. You and your classmates will also plan and undertake a week-long educational trip, and stage a travel expo attended by travel and tourism industry professionals, to showcase your year's work.</p> <p>To meet Health and Safety requirements, applicants must be physically able to undertake the practical components of the programme in an industry emulated environment.</p></div>
