Applicants must complete the Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB) assessment and achieve an outcome of ACSF exit level 2 - working level 3 for literacy and numeracy.

Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years of age at the time of course commencement and have completed a pre-training assessment for literacy and numeracy, Students who are aged under 17 years require a completed Transition from School form from their school

Free TAFE Pathways In addition to being a Free TAFE course, this course is also part of the Free TAFE Pathways initiative.
Entry Requirements
Applicants need to have sufficient mobility and dexterity to navigate simulated building sites (including working at heights) and manual handling of Waterproofing materials, tool and equipment., Entry requirements are ACSF exit level 1 - working level 2 for literacy, numeracy and reading, In addition, this course entails students handling and applying hazardous waterproofing chemicals., Students must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, eye protection and Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE)) for prolonged periods.
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age at time of course commencement. A BKSB assessment is required with an outcome ACSF exit level 2 - working level 3 for both literacy and numeracy, Applicants must be currently employed as a Dental Assistant, Please note: Students need a valid Working with Children Check (volunteer), a clear national police check and immunisations to undertake practical placement.
