<div> <strong>Overview</strong> <strong>Overview</strong> <p>Appreciating the business and economic framework in which the resources sector operates requires knowledge of economic, financial, managerial, legal, regulatory, political and social environments. </p> <p>Our teaching programs are offered in a flexible way to cater for fly-in-fly-out workers and busy mid-career resource sector professionals wanting to balance work and study. They are designed to help these professionals move into senior management or decision-making roles. </p> <p>Business-oriented students are immersed in the workings of the energy and mining sectors, while those with a technical background learn business tactics and terminology. Both groups graduate with a deeper understanding of the sector, and the tools to put new knowledge into action.</p> <p>This course will provide you with a thorough foundation in resource sector management and general business theories. <div><p>This comprehensive, hands-on programme covers project management, operations management and e-commerce in relation to supply chain logistics.</p> <p>You'll learn from industry experts how to identify important phases of supply chain and logistical management from internal and external perspectives; evaluate and critique existing operations; identify supply chain and logistical issues; and create effective and sustainable management solutions.</p> <p>You'll also gain a practical understanding of e-commerce and its role in business; develop concepts and analytical methods for managing people and resources; explore the basic principles and terminology of project management; and appraise project plans using MSProject.</p> <p>A key component of your studies will be a work placement of 400 hours. During this time you'll be immersed in a real-word industry environment and have the opportunity to produce work of the highest quality as evidence of your development. In addition, electives in B2B sales and marketing or health and safety leadership will enable you to expand your capabilities to lead and support supply chain logistics.</p>    <p>You'll also channel the knowledge and skills you acquire into a practical industry project for a local business or organisation, in which you'll address business issues or advance business opportunities.
