Automotive Two - Introduction to Engines

<div><p>Dual Enrolment programmes are FREE if you're in Years 11, 12 or 13 and a great way to earn NCEA credits and get a feel for tertiary study, while you're still at school.</p>  <p>Gain an introduction to the automotive and engineering trades through hands-on experience in a range of skills including welding, collision repair, machine and hand tool operation, general engineering tasks and basic automotive servicing skills. This programme will enable you to make an informed decision about your future study and career pathways.</p>  <p>This programme is delivered two days per week (Thursdays and Fridays 9:00am - 3:00pm).</p>  <p>Location: Woolston, SIT</p>  <p>*Places are limited and funding is dependent on availability. During your studies you'll analyse organisational staff behaviour and its impact on business, and learn about wellbeing leadership, health and safety and the latest employment legislation. In your final year you'll explore advanced HR strategy and contemporary issues in human resource management.</p>    <p>Flexibility has been built into this degree, allowing you to not only to study part-time, full-time and/or in the evenings, but to choose two specialisations at no extra cost and requiring no additional time. Alternatively, you can personalise your degree by including up to five elective courses (Level 5 and above, equal to 15 credits each) from any subject area of your choosing.</p></div>

Additionally, you'll channel the knowledge and skills you acquire into a practical industry project for a local business or organisation, in which you'll address business issues or advance business opportunities.
