The Bachelor of Aviation Management (BAvMan) is a dedicated aviation qualification which will introduce you to various aspects of the aviation industry.

Note: The Flight Instruction specialisation of this programme may have an on-campus or in-person requirement and therefore requires that students submit a current My Vaccine Pass on enrolment.
Entry Requirements
To enter the Graduate Diploma in Aviation you will:
have been awarded or qualified for a bachelor's degree, or equivalent, or
have demonstrated equivalent practical, professional and/or scholarly experience
meet the prerequisite requirements for the 200-level courses.
If you do not have a bachelor's degree, you will need to supply a copy of your CV including academic and work history.

This programme is a selected entry programme. This means there are a number of extra requirements you must meet.
To enter the Bachelor of Aviation programme, you must pass NCEA Level 3/Year 13 or equivalent in an 'English-rich' subject. These include one of the following:
classical studies
English
geography
history
history of art
media studies
religious education (RE)
business studies
biology
economics.
When you first apply online you need to:
provide a CV including academic and work history
have completed a trial flight
provide any information of circumstances in your past personal or professional life that might make you ineligible to train for, or hold, a professional pilots licence in New Zealand (see below for more information).
If you already have a NZCAA Class One Medical Certificate please also upload a copy with your application. But this is not essential for your initial application.

Massey University's Master of Aviation will give you the knowledge and skills you need to gain a more in-depth understanding of aviation and advance your career. This programme offers taught courses and independent research.
Entry Requirements
To enter the Master of Aviation, you will have been awarded or qualified for a Bachelor of Aviation, Bachelor of Aviation Management or equivalent qualification, and have achieved a minimum B- grade average in the highest level courses.
If you have been awarded the Degree of Bachelor of Aviation Management with Honours, or the equivalent degree of another recognised university, you may apply for credit towards Part One of the qualification in accordance with the limits specified in the Recognition of Prior Learning regulations.
You will need to provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.
Australian Technical College Western Australia (ATCWA)
With the rapid growth of the resources and infrastructure sector, civil construction has become one of the top demanding fields in Australia. Therefore, studying in this qualification provides you with multiple employment opportunities to be successful in the civil construction field.
Entry Requirements
You will be able to enrol in this qualification if you can demonstrate the following.
Be 18 years of age or above
Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the Business Services Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions);
English Language Requirement:
As per Department of Home Affairs International students who are looking to apply for student visa must comply with one of the following English Language requirements to be enrolled in this course. International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5 for each of the 4 components OR
Pearson Test of English (PTE): At least 50 for each of the 4 components; OR
Cambridge English C1 Advanced Test (previously known as Cambridge English: Advanced CAE): At least 169 in each of the 4 components; OR
Occupational English Test (OET): At least C for each of the 4 components.
Where the student is unable to provide proof of one of the above listed English Language Tests, ATCWA requires students to provide one of the following evidence of the English Language to be considered for issuing a confirmation of Enrolment.
ACSF Level 3 test outcome at the English Test administered by the Australian Technical College Western Australia; OR
Evidence that English is the medium of instruction at the student's school and has been for the last two (2) years, and the student demonstrates a satisfactory grade in the English language; OR
Evidence that the student is currently studying in Australia, and have studied for a period of 6 months or more at AQF Certificate IV level or above.
